Rutu Biosystems specializes in the manufacturing of a wide range of Biological Solutions, right from sanitation, odour control and waste management. We offer a wide range of bio-products that effectively meet the Eco-friendly cleaning needs of corporate, institutional and government spaces. Rutu Biosystems developed the brand biodoc, based on the principle of “Cleaning- For Well being”.

The purpose of creating environment-friendly bio-solutions transcends the monetary gains that come from it. Timelines & Mile Stone

2005

Mr. Mohan realized the nuisance value of garbage odor and its ill effects on surrounding areas. He built a team to try and eliminate this problem naturally. Began trying out application of biologicals.

2007

After intensive R&D, first commercial trials launched for garbage odor control at Pune Municipal Corporation’s dumping ground. The trials were a roaring success. The product was christened "Odofresh"

2008

Rutu Biosystems was officially incorporated and began operations in a small 400 sq. ft facility on the outskirts of Pune.

2008

PMC became our first client and since then has been used by more than 15 municipal corporations across the country till date.

2010

Rutu Biosys introduces the first MADE IN INDIA Biological Urinal Block to tackle odor in public washrooms. Proves to be the starting point of the biodoc Waterless Urinal Program.

2012

Moved to a larger 3500 sq. ft facility in Bhugaon, Pune.

2017

Launched the Waterless Urinal Program to help convert urinals at Mumbai International Airport.

2018

Commercial Launch of the waterless urinal program which has helped various organizations save 10+ billion liters of water!

2018

Introduction of probiotic cleaners for home care.

2020

Setup of in-house R&D facility & expansion of manufacturing facility to a 5000 sq. ft. area.
